Circa 1960s

An excellent fully adzed and panelled solid oak small Storage Box  by Thomas ‘Gnomeman’ Whittaker of Littlebeck. near Whitby.  Of rectangular  panelled form  with a hinged lid standing on four legs, a tudor rose carved into the centre of the lid and his trademark gnome cared prominently to one upper corner.

Excellent original condition and colour, a more recent magnetic catch attached by the original owner.
