Circa 1960s

A beautifully coloured and patinated solid oak occasional table or stool from the workshop  of renowned Yorkshire Critter craftsman Thomas Whittaker, the Gnomeman of Littlebeck, near Whitby. Made in his typical rustic  and adzed style it features a 61cm oblong  top, dowel pinned to carved waisted sides with a  pegged central stetcher. 

No evidence of damage or previous repairs.
