A wonderful  9″ Fruitbowl  designed by William Moorcroft in an apple green lustre glaze, part of a range of items retailed by Liberty & Co, London. Marked to the base in the expected manner with William Moorcroft signature. Also labelled with Peter Myers loan label No.11.

Lovely condition with no major faults or signs of any professional repairs, just minor expected age related glaze crazing and marking as photographed around the rim.

Complete with the original V&A exhibition label. This piece also features in the exhibition catalogue page 100, E29 F

Provenance:  Peter Myers Collection 2021.
Loaned to the V&A by Peter Myers and exhibited in 1975: Liberty’s 1875-1975, An exhibition to Mark the Firms Centenary, V&A Museum, London.
